This is my first critique I hope you will not be offended by getting it As I already said I unfortunately have't seen this cartoon so I can only judge the picture not the presentation of this character so, I liked colours, pose, the way you have added shadows but there is in my opinion one problem. The background and the character looks seperately. I understand that the main idea was showing the guy itself but steel I think that you should be more careful with working on the background don't hurry keep a calm and carry on your amazing artworks! They bring inspiration with themselves Great Job!

I kinda like it with the shadow behind the character. It looks like a cell drawing that you put over the background before you take a picture of it. Old school animation.
